Winter weddings have a whimsical magic about them. Belynda and Dawson’s was an evening candlelit event at the beautiful Wightman Chapel at Scarritt-Bennett Center in Nashville.
I love the white on white flowers, shoes, etc with turquoise and peacock feathers accents for for winter. And the super cute Mrs. Darnell hanger is just perfect to display the dress so we can see every perfect detail. Fresh by Carrie Ann always does an amazing job with flowers. We get excited every time we see he on the vedor list.
I love to see a bride’s face when she first sees the engagement book or other photo items we bring on the wedding day. Belynda thought of so many great details. The little make-up bags with initials are such cute gifts. The material flowers with lace from her mothers wedding dress were perfect accents for all kinds of items for the day. I have never seen a bride wear her mothers dress for the wedding day, but the have bits of lace to carry on the tradition makes me teary eyed.
Most of our couples see each other ahead of the ceremony for a private moment. Love the covering the eyes and seeing each other at the same time. They had so much joy on their faces. Dawson looked so relaxed after he finally got to see Belynda. Private moments are an awesome new tradition on the wedding day.
The guys look awesome in their Street’s Tuxedo Tuxes. These tuxedos always look great and the guys love how they fit. Dawson’s and his groomsmen look like they belong in a magazine.
The girl looked great in their Watters and Watters dresses. Just as the sun set it was time for the ceremony.
They were so happy after the ceremony. They were definitely ready to be Mr. and Mrs.
The cake was from The Bake Shoppe of Main Event Productions. There was a different delicious flavor on each layer. The guest loved trying all the great flavors.
Congrats Belynda and Dawson. We loved being a part of your day!

Meredith Bridal
What a beautiful bride while working on her photos I have decided she is a perfect mixture of a modern day Cinderella & Jessica Simpson, Meredith is not only drop dead gorgeous, smart but amazingly sweet as well. She moved like a dream on her bridal portrait session and we can’t wait to capture her winter wedding. The dress is from Mockingbird Bridal Boutique in Texas.

Congrats Meredith!

Nicole & Josh
This beach hopping couple decided to take their wedding party on a cruise, they had their wedding at the first island stop at St. Thomas. This beautiful beach was the perfect setting for this romantic day.

Nicoles color scheme was gorgeous & so vibrant, all the shades of pink really pop with the blue surrounding of the sea.

Ok… who doesn’t LOVE these party shoes!

They had their reception at Coral World in St. Thomas, where they have tons of wild life exhibits. We got to spend a little time with a friendly Sea Lion, who also gave our beautiful bride Nicole a kiss.

We were able to take the entire bridal party around the crusie ship, here we are lounging at the bar in the lobby. I love this picture!
Congrats Nicole & Josh!

Meet Ashley & Allen
We couldn’t wait to showcase this amazing couple, they are not only so sweet but so full of life. Ashley & Allen have known each other since high school, they were bestfriends for eight and a half years before they started to date. Ashley is obviously beautiful, but she is also very creative & energetic she is the PERFECT bride! If you had a son you would want him to marry Ashley. Actually if you had a daughter this would be there perfect guy to fix her up with. Allen is so smart and kinda cute too, but don’t get your hopes up girls he spoken for. Since it was a chilly day the library was a perfect location for part of their winter photo session.

The Big Question:
He proposed to me at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night walk. (kind of like relay for life) I am a Leukemia survivor (diagnosed at 17–Allen was there for me through it all), and I had a team walking. He was supposed to be in memphis doing a rotation for medical school but he surprised me at the walk. They called me up to the stage. As soon as I saw him, I knew why he was there. He said, “Ashley, we’re here tonight to celebrate your life and hopefully..the start of our life together”. Then he got on one knee and said, “Will you marry me?” Of course, I said yes! The whole night was magical. Plus we were able to raise alot of money for cancer research!
