Katie & Donnie were such a wonderfully fun and energetic couple to work with. You could tell they were truly each others best friend and that they were completely in love. Every time they looked at each other there was a grin that went from ear to ear. The best part about our time with Katie & Donnie was how competitive they were with each other, and they always had little games to see who was the best. They love pushing each other to make one another strive to be better than the day before.
Once we arrived at the Hilton Downtown to begin the photos of Katie getting ready, we could see that she was glowing with anticipation of the day to come. The dress she picked from Faccios was absolutely gorgeous and fit her personality perfectly.
When we first met Katie & Donnie, they brought along their Wedding Coordinator D’Lisa Reynard. Not only did she do the coordinating for this awesome event, but she also created all of the Flower Arrangements, Bouquets, and Boutonnières as well. D’Lisa truly outdid herself and brought Katie & Donnie’s dream wedding to reality and then some.
Donnie who is a Titans player, had a spectacular groom’s cake made for him by Nashville’s finest, Maples Cakes. It seems fitting that it was of the Titans Stadium, and as soon as Donnie saw it you could tell it was exactly what he wanted. Everyone who laid their eyes upon this cake could not believe how incredible this edible piece of art was, and they were sure to get a piece for themselves before it was all gone. - Super Delicious by the way!
Lighting for the evening was provided by Nashville Event Lighting, and it was truly a show stopper. So wonderfully done, it transformed the Parthenon from something we see every day into something you will only see once in a lifetime.
