Lizzie+Pat | Every detail counts

Meet Lizzie & Pat

This was a beautiful May wedding, we absolutely loved their colors purple & green.

Lizzie’s dress was very romantic, we thought that the chandelier in the barn would be the perfect place to hang this gorgeous dress.

I had a lot of fun in the dressing room with Lizzie & her gal pals, they were an absolute riot!

Bicycle ride for six? Pat’s groomsmen loved the bicycle built for two! If only they could all have fit on there…that would have been a very memorable picture!

We had a fantastic time shooting all of the details; every table arrangement not only had a beautiful display of flowers, but a Irish blessing as well.
The wood pieces in the center of each table had the bride & grooms initials with a heart around them.

This colorful candy bar was the perfect treat for all of Lizzie & Pat’s guests.

Congratulations Lizzie & Pat!

Historic Cedarwood Style Show Part II | Bridal Show

People were lined up outside to get registered for the annual Cedarwood Style Show. We really enjoyed talking to our brides and meeting new Cedarwood brides and groom. We got the opportunity to see some of the new and amazing decor.

Cedarwood Brides and Grooms excited to be at the Style Show.

Cedarwood has an onsite floral designer to help each bride make sure her flowers compliment her decor.

The design of your wedding cake can compliment your color palette or stand out for a unique touch.

Patty Cakes of Gallatin, Tennessee is the amazing cake designer for Cedarwood.  This cake is reminiscent of elegant French decor of the 1800′s.

Personalized tokens from you to your guest are another way to enhance the decor of your wedding day.

One of the featured tables we loved.

The beautiful white on white that Cedarwood called “Burlap Bling” is the most unique table setting we have seen. It brings a new definition to Country Chic. The warm sunlight streaming through the window with the soft neutral tones of the setting gave it a nostalgic romantic glow.

Intricate and personalized details, will be a trend we are sure will see with our Cedarwood brides this season.

The “Let them eat cake” banner if perfect for the “French Flea Market”. There were subtle French touches in unexpected places that were as beautiful as they were unique.

We are looking forward to spending another great season photographing brides at Cedarwood and seeing all the special decor they create for each bride.

The Historic Cedarwood Style Show Part I| Bridal Show

We were delighted to be invited again to Historic Cedarwood’s annual Style Show. The show is always a feast for the senses. Amazing floral designed displays and great food and cake from Cedarwood’s vendors.

Historic Cedarwood is one of Nashville’s premier wedding locations.

Some of the creative country chic styling from the wonderful Cedarwood staff.

It's the little things, like the color of your program matching your flowers that mean so much.

Designs In Paper can custom design anything from invitations to menus that compliment your wedding decor.

Reflections in White

The decor is always unique and fresh.  From intricately classic to simply whimsical,  Cedarwood tailors each event to fit the brides colors and style.  No two weddings at Cedarwood ever look the same.

French Flea Market

Country Chic love nests.

Each nook and cranny is an opportunity to show great style.

The wall of frames and mirrors are new to the barn.  We just love this museum look to the wonderful rustic barn.

White on white vintage can be unique and special.

Vintage inspired doves and love nest: perfect for a cozy country setting.

Even cakes are presented uniquely at Cedarwood.

Patty Cakes the cake designer for Cedarwood always produces great tasting, “one of a kind” cakes.

Working with Cedarwood always makes it easy to make your wedding day into art.  This is why we love shooting there.

Shannon and Jeff: A December Wedding at Cedarwood

Shannon and Jeff got married at one of our all time favorite locations,  Historic Cedarwood on December 11, 2010.

Shannon’s shoes had “I Do” on the bottom and their initials and “I love Jeff” on the inside.  What a great way to personalize the day.

Shannon is so cute and sweet and it is no wonder Jeff is madly in love with her.

We just loved the bouquet charms that noted her relationships with her mom and sister.  Winter whites with the beautiful icy blue turqoise really brought the theme together

Karen Wright, floral designer extrodinaire, at Cedarwood always puts together bouquets “to die for”.  We love how the feathers in Shannon’s hair was carried over to her bouquet.

Jeff is an avid Notre Dame fan and showed his Irish Pride with style.  Guest were invited to sign his Football Jersey and enjoy the football groom’s cake.  Jeff is so much fun. No one could be bored when he is around.  Jeff also had to get their “his and hers” dogs in the wedding day since they are such an important part of their lives.  Cedarwood is one of the few dog friendly locations.

The details are are what make a wedding personal.  We loved the “Wish Tree” where guest left wishes, thoughts and lots of love for the bride and groom.  A few of our reasons for loving Cedarwood is the decorations and the attention to everything, especially the details.

It was a cold rainy day, but that did not dampen the romantic spirit of the day

Jeff and Shannon are so in love.  Their joy and smiles are contagious.

Thank heavens for the rain or we would not have had the opportunity to get these great umbrella shots. The mist made an almost dreamy feel to the photos.  Congratulations to Shannon and Jeff.  Thank you for having us record all the magic of your day.
