Meet Ashley & Allen
We couldn’t wait to showcase this amazing couple, they are not only so sweet but so full of life. Ashley & Allen have known each other since high school, they were bestfriends for eight and a half years before they started to date. Ashley is obviously beautiful, but she is also very creative & energetic she is the PERFECT bride! If you had a son you would want him to marry Ashley. Actually if you had a daughter this would be there perfect guy to fix her up with. Allen is so smart and kinda cute too, but don’t get your hopes up girls he spoken for. Since it was a chilly day the library was a perfect location for part of their winter photo session.
The Big Question:
He proposed to me at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night walk. (kind of like relay for life) I am a Leukemia survivor (diagnosed at 17–Allen was there for me through it all), and I had a team walking. He was supposed to be in memphis doing a rotation for medical school but he surprised me at the walk. They called me up to the stage. As soon as I saw him, I knew why he was there. He said, “Ashley, we’re here tonight to celebrate your life and hopefully..the start of our life together”. Then he got on one knee and said, “Will you marry me?” Of course, I said yes! The whole night was magical. Plus we were able to raise alot of money for cancer research!

This was a seriously fun engagement session. This couple had no problem enjoying the unusually warm winter day. We had almost as much fun as they did. There won’t be many warm days to shoot outdoors, so it was great to get to know them and enjoy the weather.
Nikki and Mark just light up when they look at each other. They are so much fun to be around.
Nikki is so sweet it is no wonder Mark feel head over heals for her.
I love it when we get to see inside jokes, and personal insights into what makes each of our couples unique. Nikki and Mark are masters at ‘thumb wars” . If they ever make it an Olympic sport, these guys have a gold medal for sure.
Nikki and Mark will be getting married in New Orleans this spring. We love the french quarter and we know they will have a great wedding. We can’t wait to post wedding day photos.

Brooke and Chad are a great couple we met when they won an engagement session at a The Perfect Wedding Guide (PWG) bridal show. We really enjoyed getting to know them. They met in New York City through mutual friends. Brooke and Chad will be getting married in June at the Good Shepard Methodist Church and having their reception at Country Hills Golf Course in Hendersonville, TN. We did their engagement session at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. Chad proposed to her in front of the old church there, so it was special to go back there for engagement photos.
Their faith is very important to them so we just had to express their love of their religion and each other in the photos.

Meet Ashley & Thomas
I love my job! I get to hang out with really cool couples like Ashley and Thomas. These guys make each other and everyone around them laugh. They honestly love each other and it show in their photos. I had a hard time choosing which ones to put on the blog. When you see how cute these guys are you will know why. I know March seems like a long time away, but I can hardly wait for their wedding.
Even a serious photo doesn’t stay serious very long.
