Belynda and Dawson’s Winter Wedding at Scarrit-Bennett

Winter weddings have a whimsical magic about them.  Belynda and Dawson’s was an evening candlelit event at the beautiful Wightman Chapel at Scarritt-Bennett Center in Nashville.

I love the white on white flowers, shoes, etc with turquoise and peacock feathers accents for for winter.  And the super cute Mrs. Darnell hanger is just perfect to display the dress so we can see every perfect detail.  Fresh by Carrie Ann always does an amazing  job with flowers.  We get excited every time we see he on the vedor list.

I love to see a bride’s face when she first sees the engagement book or other photo items we bring on the wedding day.  Belynda thought of so many great details.  The little make-up bags with initials are such cute gifts.  The material flowers with lace from her mothers wedding dress were perfect accents for all kinds of items for the day.  I have never seen a bride wear her mothers dress for the wedding day, but the have bits of lace to carry on the tradition makes me teary eyed.

Most of our couples see each other ahead of the ceremony for a private moment.  Love the covering the eyes and seeing each other at the same time.  They had so much joy on their faces.  Dawson looked so relaxed after he finally got to see Belynda.  Private moments are an awesome new tradition on the wedding day.

The guys look awesome in their Street’s Tuxedo Tuxes.  These tuxedos always look great and the guys love how they fit.  Dawson’s and his groomsmen  look like they belong in a magazine.

The girl looked great in their Watters and Watters dresses.  Just as the sun set it was time for the ceremony.

Scarritt Bennett is so beautiful with candles at night.

They were so happy after the ceremony.  They were definitely ready to be Mr. and Mrs.

The cake was from The Bake Shoppe of Main Event Productions.  There was a different delicious  flavor on each layer.  The guest loved trying  all the great flavors.

Congrats Belynda and Dawson.  We loved being a part of your day!

Sneak Peek Claudia & Bill | Cedarwood Wedding|Nashville Wedding Photographer

Meet Claudia & Bill

This fun couple had a beautiful wedding at Historic Cedarwood & we LOVED being apart of it. We couldn’t help but show a sneak peek of this country chic wedding.  Cedarwood never ceases to impress us, but this wedding decor was over the top for even the decor masters of Cedarwood.

Claudia’s wedding boots were so beautiful we photographed them whenever we could.   This country wedding was the coolest thing we have seen in a while, even though the temperature registered at over 100 degrees.  My car thermometer said 107.  No sure it was right, but it sure felt like 107. Claudia and Bill never let the heat melt their spirits.  They were  getting married and that was all that mattered.

The floral designs in the open air Cathedral was beautiful against the blue sky.  Purple has been a popular color this year (which we love). The late summer colors were perfect.

These table placecards are so cute.  They directed the guest to each table which was named after a favorite musical artist.

The open air reception had a “burlap and bling” color scheme with a combination of long and round tables.  All the guest enjoyed watching the sun set as they enjoyed their dinner.

The bride and groom had custom glasses with their faces painted on them.  The bride also gave each of the brides maids these great glasses.

These favor boxes are so cute with the bride and grooms initials.

Cute little seating areas lined the dance floor and made a cool comfortable spot to relax.

The signature drinks were served in mason jars with initial napkins.

At twilight everything sparkled.  The candles added a glow to the burlap and bling theme.

Big Congrats to Claudia & Bill!!!  We look forward to posting more from their great wedding soon.

Legacy Farms Open House| Style Shoot Pt.2 | Nashville Wedding Photographers

Legacy Farms Open House Part 2

Wow is all we have to say about Legacy Farms, Enchanted Florist and the amazing wedding professionals who made the Open House an over -the=top success. We wanted to post Part 2 first thing today, we just keep getting more excited by each setup.

We are starting this blog out with the 4th setup of the day, a great table setup up by Amy with Williamson County Wedding & Events & flower arrangements by Enchanted Florist.

What we enjoyed the most about this Open House is how they showed each client & local vendors how everyone can utilize each & every space.

The fifth setup has perfect timing for our upcoming fall brides. This fall table arrangement has all the decor you could want for a autumn wedding, from the apples, leaves, and mini pies to the mason jars. I call almost feel the brisk weather and great fall smells.  After the super hot weather this summer I think everyone is ready for some great fall weddings. Check out all the amazing details!
